They were found alone in a cardboard box soaked in their urine in a mobile home park and brought to the shelter emaciated, dehydrated, filthy and in critical condition. With love and time Turkey grew into a beautiful boy and was adopted by Joyce and her mom Carole! He is living his best life in Las Vegas.

Honey Buns- Adopted

Hoopsi- Adopted
Hoopsi was surrendered to us by a good samaritan who got him from his breeder. Hoopsi was given away because the breeder's other dogs were picking on him and he likely was not able to produce/make money for the breeder due to his neurological and congenital abnormalities. He is the sweetest little fellow who has hydrocephalus, skeletal malformations, throat issues and respiratory challenges. Hoopsi is just over 2 years old and 20 lbs.
Hoopsi was recently adopted by long time hydro friends Katie & Mark who were the parents of hydro warrior angel Ollie the Frog Dog. He now rules the mountains of Montana with frenchie sister Annabelle & Golden Retriever brother Trident.

Theia- Adopted
Theia St. Augustine is a 4 month old american pocket bully who joined PMR at 5 weeks old because she was born blind and deaf. Neither Thiea or we have let that slow or hinder her from growing into the sweetest, most playful, confident and adventurous girl! We knew that only the MOST special family would do for such a special girl and she was recently adopted by our former foster Arbor's family! Arbor was also blind, had hydrocephalus and seizures which ended his earth journey earlier this year. We know he sent Theia to be with his furever family and all agree it is the perfect match. Check out her awesome adventures and growth!

Kulolo- Adopted
Kulolo Kai joined PMR from North Central Shelter in LA after he was pulled from the adoption floor for developing a respiratory infection and his status became urgent. Since recovering from that, he has proven himself to be the most robust and jolly of fellows with more inquisitive charm and love than we have ever seen! Kulolo is around 1.5 years old and 35 lbs of squishy delight. His name means Ocean Pudding. He is a lover of all beings and constant entertainment, flopping his body around and looking for mischief. Kuli is living his best life with his furever pawrents, frenchie brother Tuber and kitty brother Gibbs.

Peach- Adopted
Peach joined PMR at a teeny tiny 5 weeks old because of eye problems. She is now officiall;y part of our Pirate Club after having her left eye enucleated at 6 months old. Peach is the funniest little monkey fruit and was adopted by previous adopters. She now lives in So Cal with her wonderful family and wheelchair frenchie sister Pixie.

Rodney- Adopted
Rodney the Pirate Prince! Rodney is a handsome 3 year old french bulldog who was surrendered with a ruptured eye and large abdominal mass on the left side of his body from an "unknown" trauma. In addition to that, Rodney also has very pinched nostrils, is not neutered and has hard cauliflower buds of scar tissue in both ears from years of untreated infections.
In the first two months Rodney joined PMR we removed the left eye, gotten him neutered, healed the swelling on his side and did a BOAS surgery to open his nares, shorten the palate and remove enlarged saccules from his throat to help him breathe more comfortably. He is recovered from those procedures and moved into an amazing Foster to Adopt home with PMR Alumni Greta Sprinkles and family to work on his ears and start living his best new life! He is now officially adopted and adored by all he meets!

Teddy Rose- Adopted
Teddy Roosevelt is a luscious and meaty 55lb english bulldog. He just turned 1 on December 10th and found himself being taken to the shelter when his family was moving. We were able to scoop Teddy up before he was processed and place hime with the perfect furever family. Teddy loves to go for leash walks and be in the middle of family activity. He's a total hunk and dream dog. Fireman Ted now lives in Connecticut with his teacher mom, firefighter dad, brindle twin sister and human brother.

Gigi Ray- Adopted
Gigi Ray is a very petite tri-colored french bulldog full of light and personality! She is fully deaf with mild cerebellum and vision impairment that gives her some unique dance moves but her special abilities do not slow or inhibit her from living a fully active and happy life. She does not take any medication for her conditions and we do not think they are progressive conditions. If anything, her vision and mobility has improved as she grows. In spite of her tiny size, this little lady can hold her own and loves to play with dogs of all sizes. She is the perfect combination of sweet and sassy. She has the spirit of the hummingbird.
Gigi lives in Kansas City with her human parents and 3 dog sisters. She is part of the Kansas City Frenchie Club and loves stroller rides with her grammy.
